What footwear goes with this dress?

It will be for work with is smart casual but not 'sexy'. I'll probably wear thick black tights with it?

I'd like something that gives it a big of something different (they advertise it with black pointed heels but I don't like them)

Any ideas?

Black courts or neet ankle boots would look nice. I always think that knee high boots look all wrong with short sleeves
