Is Bobbi Brown worth the ££££??

Just had a mini makeover at a Bobbi Brown counter. They used the stick foundation, some kind of white plumping cream, an ace powder bronzer thing and a gorgeous moisturiser. I look about 20 years younger... BUT... could an expert make up artist on any brand work that magic?? Or is it solely down to the Bobbi brown make up? What I mean is, could I get the same results using boots no. 7 if I applied it correctly or is BB really worth all that extra money??

Every penny. Bobbi Brown is continually excellent.

If you were to buy 3 BB products for someone who doesn't spend a lot of time on makeup, what would you pick?

(not lippy!)

Definitely the stick foundation, the under eye concealer/powder and personally the undereye corrector too (guess what my problem area is? Blush). But if under eyes not so much of a problem then I'd swap the corrector for a blush or brightening brick. I like the shimmer bricks (use them for eyeshadow too) but I know a lot of people find them too sparkly. The 'regular' blushers are nice.

I have some gel liners an blushers that I never use but prompted by this thread picked up the stick foundation and an eye stick in "Nude Beach" yesterday. I do feel more pulled together today and they've lasted well.

Love BB.
I use (in winter) foundation, creme blush, lipstick, gel eyeliner and cream eye shadows, smoky mascara. Not used any skincare as yet although I did get some really nice samples which I will use once I have finished my current products.

In summer I use Charlotte Tilbury wonderglow instead of foundation.

I have also used an Aldi mascara and found it was really good.

I like pot rouge blusher. I don't find it at all greasy and lasts all day on my skin and the colour is perfect for me. I also use the creamy concealer under eyes and various lip glosses ('buff 'a particular favourite which people always comment favourably on). I've had some beautiful palettes that come out around Christmas time with really wearable shades.
