I am 5ft2 and have a big bra size (not helped by breastfeeding) so need something that will flatter me.

Not too worried about the colour or style but I'd like something that would look ok out and about around town, at the preschool doors, and visiting relatives. ie, an all round jacket/coat.

I also want it to be reasonably priced. £75 or less if possible.

Thanks

Can't help at all but I need one of these too! Currently wearing a very battered brown cord number from Tescos - not very smart. I also have norkage issues and a fat bum so the little cropped numbers tend not to be very flattering. There is a nice peacoat thing in Boden but it's very...Boden.

I've just bought a navy thigh-length trench from Gap. I tie the belt at the back to nip in the waist. It has lovely 3/4 sleeves too.

I tried on the plainer, straight-up-and-down coats and I just looked like a bag lady. I hate little cropped things too and need my bum and tummy to be covered.

janeite · 07/04/2007 17:12

That sounds nice Mrsdarcy - is there a pic? And does it come in any other colours do you know; haven't worn navy since 6th form!

I also need one of these - also 5ft nuffin and large of norkage - normally look spherical in a coat..and if it fits the norks the sleeves are normally way too long.

anyone? seems like i am not the only one in need...

Adding to the needy on the thread.

BUT I am Norkless (with a big bum too). Budget would be a little lower at £40 max. But any cheaper would be fab.

Found two nice summer jackets in H&M last year, both silly prices and both v flattering and quite stylish.
Not been in there recently but is def worth having a look.

glassslipper · 10/04/2007 15:05

I dont have an H&M near me so will have to keep looking.

Principles often do good jackets, you can order on line too. They are bit more pricey but are always having sales... Quality bit nicer than H&M too...
