Opinions on this coat

I'm after opinions on this coat. I'm looking for something waterproof, but smarting.

Sorry i didn't see you ask about the mac.

It is not waterproof, however, I had one just like this from Primark in black that I used to wear out in the rain and I never got wet! It doesn't seem to soak through the outer layer and lining to reach skin/clothing. Primark one was made out of the same fabric and I used to machine wash it all the time, so will do the same with this one.
