2017 seems to have lots of metallic boots love them but not sure the will love larger feet on over 40?

Glitter is fun, go for it. I've got glitter converse and they always make me smile.

rightknockered · 25/09/2017 17:18

Buy them, I bloody love silver boots. I've gone off all my black boots lately, once you stop wearing black, you'll never want to wear the dull things again

CarlHickbread · 25/09/2017 17:22

Love love love those next boots!

sizeofalentil · 25/09/2017 17:26

YES! Buy cheap ones from New Look or Primark to test the waters and see if you'll wear them before investing in anything pricier.

Laiste · 25/09/2017 17:36

How about these? They're fabric and very soft/floppy. I keep walking past them and eyeing them up, but thought i'd never have the occasion to wear them. Now i'm thinking - hmmmm.

What are you all wearing them with? Jeans mainly?

The black's nice actually - still glittery, less scary Grin

I've got some silver Chelsea boots. Had them since early last year and they are very versatile.

I have some silver sparkly boots from last year. They were New Look cheapies but I always get compliments and they are surprisingly versatile!

Why would being over 40 make the slightest difference?

Your feet don't change as you get older!

Anyway, silver is a neutral.

Ttbb · 25/09/2017 21:30

No, just why? It's leather-why would it be metallic? It just as bad as taking a silver necklace and then making it look like leather.

rightknockered · 25/09/2017 21:33

Ummm what?
Silver is a metallic colour, otherwise it is just grey.

rightknockered · 25/09/2017 21:34

I guess you only wear natural hide colours then...

Yes!

I love my silver converse. Go with everything. Am totally planning on getting some boots for winter.
