oh, me too!

NappyChange · 05/04/2007 19:34

Currently wearing ankle boots from Clarks which are fine but I look a bit like a builder me thinks. Will also be a bit warm in the spring/summer.

newgirl · 06/04/2007 22:46

Celery · 08/04/2007 17:02

I just got some funky doos. They are lovely.

DeviousDaffodil · 08/04/2007 17:04

Crocs?!!

OrvilleRedenbacher · 08/04/2007 17:58

clarks?

RedLorryYellowLorry · 08/04/2007 18:16

If you're fairly young Converse All Star canvas trainers look good with jeans and are really popular at the moment as far as I can see. Did you want something smarter?

DeviousDaffodil · 08/04/2007 18:21

Ballet pumps?
I have loads in different colours.
I like to think they look rather Hepburn-esque!!!

Blondilocks · 08/04/2007 18:25

How about these? I got a pair yesterday. In the store they have more colours to choose from - I got a metallic purpley pair. They are so comfortable & I don't tend to like flat shoes other than trainers normally!

They do look much nicer when you see them & the colours look different. I was going to get pink but didn't like it when I saw it.

DeviousDaffodil · 08/04/2007 18:28

I have the silver ones Blondi they are lush!

Twiglett · 08/04/2007 18:31

I just can't get over this whole ballet shoe fashion

they are ugly shoes

and they look stupid

and they are hardly practical with their cardboard soles

and you get toe cleavage

Gobbledigook · 08/04/2007 18:32

Oh Twig - I'm with ya. Hate ballet pumps. THey are crappola

DeviousDaffodil · 08/04/2007 18:34

Not if you have pretty littl feet like me Twiglett.

REIDmychocolateylips · 08/04/2007 19:06

goldi, i have just ordered a pair of those in black! i love them and they were tres comfy (when i tried them on anyway)

saffy202 · 08/04/2007 19:08

I've pounded the pavement all weekend and ended up with a massive blister wearing my new all-stars Ended up in a pair of ballet shoes as had nothing else and a wad of elastoplasts.

FairyEdwards · 08/04/2007 19:10

Dr Martens or Caterpillar boots.

Ballet shoes and crocs suck.

FairyEdwards · 08/04/2007 19:10

new stars make your feet smel of rubber.

Gobbledigook · 08/04/2007 19:13

In the summer it's just birkies (or like them) for me.

Blondilocks · 08/04/2007 19:26

If not those ballet shoes I'd go for a pair of Skechers. Love skechers, have a pair with little flowers on

The M&S ones are leather & have a pretty good bottom on them. Some of the others I tried on were rather awful.

Don't think ballet shoes are as ugly as Crocs... yuck! They remind me of wellies!

SueW · 08/04/2007 19:54

crocs = theatre clogs

HOnestly the first time I saw them, in California, I thought the woman had decided to wear her work shoes out to the mall. Bit like me maybe deciding my work shoes would make nice winter wear.

pointydog · 08/04/2007 20:10

clarks can look ok and are var comfy

Mousie · 13/04/2007 07:33
