Red main coat?

Would I be crazy to get a red coat as my main (and only stylish) coat?

I'm a spring so looking at chocolate brown (bit boring), grey (good option), bright navy (not always easy to find) otherwise.

I want one brilliant quality coat but will I find this doesn't work or that I regret it???

Thinking it will look so cheery on full days but then again....

Thoughts?

Red main coat?

I've worn my red coat for about 3 years. Red suits me and it looks great with work wear. I have a darker duffle coat for park days. I have a blAck mum coat I bought to push prams many years ago. I hate it, but it's waterproof.

Thanks so much for all the responses. I've just used some John Lewis vouchers I had from last Christmas to buy this coat and I'm really excited! Now just to hope it fits and looks lovely. X

Buy it, get fed up of it and send it to me Smile
It's beautiful.
It will cheer up the long dark winter.

It's a beautiful coat and IMO red is a classy and timeless colour so go for it!

My main winter 'smart' coat is a red one I bought from next at least 3 winters ago (possibly 4), I still really like it and when I get round to replying it I may well go for red again
