Is this star print jumper nice?

It's M&S so my usual sartorial judgement may be out of whack:

I have a voucher which I am looking to use.

I love it, it's the pink stars that make it.

SilentlyScreamingAgain · 10/09/2017 17:54

I tend to like M&S stuff but the 20% premium they charge here in Ireland has really put me off. It's €149 here, we don't get 20% off codes and we have to pay return postage.

amousehaseatenmypaddlingpool · 10/09/2017 18:14

Not £109 nice. Maybe £60 nice.

retainertrainer · 10/09/2017 21:39

It's not that it's expensive for cashmere but it's the design. I'd go for something more timeless.

TheMasterNotMargarita · 10/09/2017 21:41

No.
Just no.
And I love a star or two. But £100 for that? No way.

motmot · 10/09/2017 21:45

Perfectly reasonable for cashmere I think and I like it.

Thissameearth · 10/09/2017 21:46

If it was £30 I wouldn't spend it as it's just a a bit of a boring print. It's not fashionable, nor it is other end of the scale at elegant or well cut. That's just my opinion obv. If buying cashmere at approx £90 (assuming 20%) I'd prob buy plain. I never do anymore thing cos I can't get it to stay nice!

Ididnthearanything · 10/09/2017 21:54

I like it. The colour is a bit too oatmeal-y for me, id buy it otherwise.reasonable enough for cashmere.

mrscampbellblackreturns · 11/09/2017 11:34

Am wearing it today - looks nice Smile

I have quite a lot of cashmere and this feels nice quality for the price.

thecatfromjapan · 11/09/2017 11:43

I like the pink stars - I really love that shade of pink - but the main body of the jumper is too oatmeal for me, too. I so wish the oatmeal had been a little toastier.

I spend some time in the store weighing it up, though because it is quite nice. So, if it suits your colouring, go for it!

VeryPunny · 12/09/2017 09:02

Aaaaanndd it's a keeperGrin Could do with being a shade longer and it does come up very large. The amount of pink is just right so it doens't feel overwhelming. It's also super cosy!

VeryPunny I saw this jumper a couple of weeks ago and couldn't make my mind up. Lots of the reviews on the website said to size down do you think you need to? TIA

VeryPunny · 12/09/2017 14:18

Yes, definitely size down. I tried on the 8 and the 10 and the 8 is still slouchy and roomy - and I am not a size 8 (but am small of nork)!

VeryPunny - thank you - I've been dithering over this jumper but your post has swayed me into ordering it Grin
