I want a pair of pretty, comfortable shoes that aren't ballet pumps...

Can I heck!!

I was hoping to get some green shoes, everyone seems to be wearing red at the moment. Typically I have to do the opposite.

I have a Christening next week and a wedding next month. I have nothing to wear and no idea where to start.

what sort of style? Courts, sandals, high, medium, low, pointy, round (bleugh ) etc

I don't really like the round thing, I have to say.
I would like a pair of smart casual shoes to wear to work, fairly trendy.
I tend to wear green and brown colours, althouugh summer it will have a fair amount of duck egg blue, white and creamy colours.

ooh, they are cuute.

I wore a pair of 4inch heels to Mass this morning... DH forget to tell me it was a 2 hour job - talk about sore feet!

Hmm, those I'm not so keen on. Like the name - "Tiddles"!

I have several pairs of Dune heels - v high! - and they are pretty comfy. Well, as comfy as heels get.

Yes, but I think I would like a brighter colour.

But I do like the Tiddles ones, very much. I do too much walking to wear high heels at work.
I have a brown pair of sandal wedges though and I was hoping for something brighter.

I have wide feet, what about the fit on your feet, lapin?

I am a skinny footed person, MrsD . Appreciate the need for lower heels if you are on your feet a lot. I loooove high heels, but I used to kick them off the second I got to work... I was always getting told off for running around in stocking'd feet

M&S had some lovely green shoes in a few weeks ago. They were comfy, despite being quite high heels.
