on sunday we had a BBQ and i made her sit there in the heat with a woolly hat on! lol. then when she got too hot i put a tea towel on her head

but i need to get her a hat she can wear on a daily basis,

How about a headscarf rather than a hat? They can be tied in funky ways, and don't make you so hot.

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 09:48

i dont think shed wear one of those tbh

Nice for the beach/garden etc. Wouldn't wear it to go shopping.

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 09:51

shes not having cheamo yet (she may not need it)

i just want to cover the area on her head that the growth was removed from

Big fat scarfy sort of hairband? I'm running out of ideas now!

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 09:58

pmsl

its hard isnt it?

alot of the sunhats are too cowgirly

a cap is too yong

scarf too old??

im sure we'll find something

It is hard, but there must be loads of people in the same situation...I agree with what you say though, for the 'not too young not too old look' it's a nightmare! Maybe just put loads of sunblock on her head!

MrsBadger · 03/04/2007 10:00

big hat thread for someone else with head trouble here - may be some useful ideas.

AnnabelCaramel · 03/04/2007 10:01

I think you need to invent something for the 'awkward buggers' and make millions!

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 10:02

thanks

getting a bit teary again now

OP posts:
AnnabelCaramel · 03/04/2007 10:04

Don't be teary stay cheery, that will help your mum more. And if your eyes are blurred with tears you may end up buying a really bad hat! Good luck.

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 10:12

lol, yeah
