I like the idea but not got the guts to walk in wearing such a long dress...that why im kind of edging towards trouser suit...im a coward..

I really like those trousers suits Jackie.. which one and with what shoes?

Only prob..high cut will create a lovely fold of ecxess skin hang over the trousers. I can get away with looking as though I have a flat tummy if im wearing low cut trousers but high cut arnt so good. I suppose I could keep the jacket on

I'm already in sandals!

I quite like the chocolate ones - either the linen one (maybe a bit summery, plus you have the whole creasing thing going on, but looks lovely) or the other one (no size 10 trousers online, though). You'd need a top to go underneath - something a bit more eveningy, for the reception. Will think about shoes - they could depend on what top you get - need to echo the colours. Would you be an orange person, or a teal/duck egg blue person, perhaps? Or cream?

I like the third trousers in with the matching jacket a few rows down. With a white cami and tan shoes? Abit like im off to work though....

Not if you get the right accessories, I don't think. Big necklace, possibly one of those fascinator things if you don't fancy a hat.

Although this is lovely - not sure how it would work under a jacket - depends on the neckline, I guess.

lornaloo · 02/04/2007 21:57

Ooh Yes LOVE that top...and you defo think the choc colour not the neutral?

Oo just noticed the price of the jacket...why is it so much more than the trousers...bloody hell!

I like the neutral too - bit wary of the white, what with the bride wearing white, but the slightly darker ones would be good too. I suspect you need to go and try them on, and see which you like best, too.

Still haven't found any shoes, either - what sort of thing do you normally wear? Can you do heels, or do you prefer flatter ones?

JackieNo · 02/04/2007 22:01

Jackets always seem to be v expensive. I suppose there's a lot of work in them.

lornaloo · 02/04/2007 22:01

Im off to bed have work early tomo. Thank you so much for your help. Ive got a good idea on what to look out for now. I shall pop into a few shops after work tomo and report back on what I got. Any last min tips?

Erm - if you're planning to wear heels to the wedding, wear them when you're trying stuff on. Wear good underwear.

Good luck.

lornaloo · 02/04/2007 22:03

xpost sorry. I normally do flats because Im tall but would love some gorge heels for the occasion. I like peap toes and courts. Not too keen on strappys this time of year for some reason. My toes arnt the prettiest site either so would like to keep there exposier to the bare minimum

No problem. Happy shopping.

JackieNo · 02/04/2007 22:22

These are nice , but at the price. Mmmm pretty too. Some in brown , or more lovely neutral ones (good for lengthening the leg).

JackieNo · 02/04/2007 22:27

Slightly better price here . Also these? Faith have quite a lot of peep toe ones .
