Anyone know or use a really good exfoliator...

for acne prone skin, I particularly suffer with spots around my jaw line, they are more like cysts/under the skin type spots. So sick of them i'm trying to find something that will help. I don't currently exfoliate and am thinking maybe I should?! I am also struggling to find a nightime moisturiser that doesn't break me out. Help! Confused

The nip and fab pads didn't do anything for my skin, even the extreme ones

When my skin broke out a couple of years ago I used the Clearasil pads and La Roche posey effeclar duo to clear it up.

I tried lots of face wash at the time but I would recommend for you from my trial and error Murad Clarifying cleanser which you can buy from M&S. It comes in a huge tube and lasts for ages and because it is very concentrated you only need a pea size amount.

This took a couple of months or so, so give it at least 3 then I moved on to different skin care products that were relevant to my new spot free skin.

I still use the clearasil pads now for spots I cut a small piece off the pad to use.
I also use now The Ordinary Salicyic Acid to dab on any spots that come up, also mainly under my chin actually.

basically Salicyic Acid is your friend right now.

Good luck

If you feel your skin needs a bit more moisture I used Clinique Moisture surge after the effecter duo or instead when giving my skin a break if it was maybe getting a bit dry.

I wouldn't recommend a scrub exfoliator, the clearasil or equivalent is a more gentle but more effective exfoliator.

*effeclar duo

don't use a scrub for the love of god. use a chemical exfoliant - glycolic acid. I can vouch for cane and austin miracle and acne pads but others are available/cheaper e.g nip fab. enjoy the results they are fab, particularly f you don't currently exfoliate! Smile

I can vouch for the Pixi Glow tonic, it helps a lot as does Alpha H liquid gold, but only use liquid gold once a week.
