HAve just bought a t-shirt bra from Avon for £5, it is the most comfy bra, the only one i have ever worn where the straps stay up all day.
I will be prdering two more from the new catalogue.
Absolute bargain.

You obviously prefer more expensive ones then. Don't listen to me then.
Suit yourselves!

I love a bargain but had no idea Avon did bras and will remember your top tip next time my colleage is passing round the catalogue. Nice one

TrinityRhino · 01/04/2007 21:49

coggy · 01/04/2007 21:55

Ladies, don't brag

i like marks and sparks, they have some mega expensive stuff but also some bras at £10, and they wash/wear really well

My bras just don't fit me anymore! Its driving me crazy...I was a 42C but now this bra feels uncomfortable...I try a 42B but this lifts off my boobs...I've tried a 40C/40B but this is to tight around my back....am going mad!! I've measured and I should be a 40C!!! What's going on with my norkage???!!!

I gave up with M&S after a lifetime of only buying bras from there, and tried debenhams instead. Pleasantly surprised - and a much better range I thought than M&S.

thePA · 01/04/2007 22:20

sadly we don't have a debenhams, it's m&s or new look!

If it's any consolation, Nikki, I spent about 40 minutes having a bra fitting at John Lewis a couple of weeks ago - and there was nothing I liked that actually fitted me!
I was a 38D, which seems to mean horrible wide straps, frumpy designs and a single colour choice of white. All the pretty designs finish at a 36 band measurement, which is thoroughly annoying. To give her her due, the woman did try to cram me into a 36D, 36DD and 36E (chortle!) but I felt as though I was being sawn in half.
It seems larger cup sizes are now catered for in prettier designs, but there's nothing much if your band size is 38 or above.
I came home and bought a pack of 2 38Ds from the Next Directory. They seem to fit ok and are comfy. (Much cheaper than the £29 a pop I'd have been paying at John Lewis, too.)
Damn troublesome norkage!
