Max Factor Pan Stick - in my opinion by far the best total cover flawless finish foundation stick and a little goes a long way

I'm sure there are more but in general I tend to use recent launches/more modern products as the technology improves and things become more lightweight, refined, easy to remove, skin-like, etc.

I discovered Max Factor panstick 25 years ago, which as a naive 19 yo I thought was brilliant for covering my heavy acne. Unfortunately it also made it far worse.

Gres Cabochard perfume never heard of this but am interested to track it down.

The two perfumes I have had on my dressing table since I was 18 are Beautiful and L'Air du Temps. Others are bought and used but not necessarily replaced.

Astral. It's the only cream I can use on my skin without it going to shit

My mum worked in a geriatrics ward for years, and always asked the old ladies with beautiful skin what they used to moisturise. It was always a toss up between Astral and Vaseline

olderandnowiser · 27/08/2017 12:40

I used olay serum for years but I have recently found a superdrug one that is similar, cheaper and smells nicer.

mamalovesmojitos · 27/08/2017 12:44

Touché éclat
Nivea soft

Chottie · 27/08/2017 12:52

Vaseline - i use it to moisturise my feet with pair of old socks over the top to ensure it soaks in.

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 27/08/2017 12:53

Clarins beauty flash Balm.

Used a lot of Clarins in my 20s - face and body ranges - and have now moved onto lots of other things but BFB is the only thing I consistently buy. It just gives skin such a nice glowy boost when I'm tired or before a night out under makeup. Also seems to help hold my foundation on longer.

My friend who is a fashion photographer swears by it for models who turn up looking like shite before a shoot Grin
