I have the second pair of Topshop boots you posted and I love those, they're my favourite pair of boots.

But the first ones... I dunno. It's something about the buckles being in the middle. It's like they're looking at you or something. I don't think I like them.

I like them and I like the narrowness, but I have narrow feet so they look comfy to me. I have the Office Lucky Charms boots from last year that are pretty similar and they get loads of compliments.

I love them, you'd have to get the clothes right to carry them off but I think they're great. I am having a mini midlife crisis though and wearing all kinds of stuff I thought were behind me.

It's the buckles I like the most tbh - it's strange, I prefer plain bags but I like hardware on boots. I love them, you clearly do too so get them, I get the idea you'll regret not. Be careful to accessorise well, I'm sure you will but boots like that need statement extras I reckon.
I want a similar pair but as knee boots. The more I look at them the more I like them.

I like the buckles, it's their position in the middle that's bugging me, like what CourtneyLoves said - the boots look like they're looking at you. But yeah I clearly like them enough to obsess on them.

True. I have that thing wherein when I like something I obsess on it. These days it's studded/buckled boots!
