Best place for cheap and cheerful jeans for short people?

I normally wear bootcut (I know, style disaster) jeans from Next or simillar.

I've gained a summer holiday tummy and need to get a new pair temporarily so don't want to spend much.

Need ones suitable for a short person in a size 10-12. Any supermarkets good for flattering jeans?

Sainburys TU do short length jeans. The slim cut are flattering - haven't tried the bootcut ones but they do have them!

Slim cut sounds good! Didn't realise Sainsbury's did a short length so I will investigate.

M&s are between 19-25 which isn't too bad.

Forever 21 do an ankle grazer length which are perfect for me to wear with converse (I'm 5'3") and they're about £8.

The material is more jeggingy but they have the normal waist band, fly, pockets etc of jeans.

Hadn't thought of M&S! Will have to go shopping. Current ones won't do up without a fight so little choice!

Primark! Not outstanding quality, but fine, and cheap.

Have never bought anything in primark . Maybe there is a first time!

Any suggestions on style anyone? Have hear that low rise is actually the worst thing for a tummy.

Second Sainsbury's, best place I've found for short arse jeans!

M&S skinnies still seem to be the best for me (short and curvy/running to fat - 12/14).

I also always used to wear next bootcut shirt leg jeans. Then I brought a pair of skinny jeans from Asda. Wow. Haven't gone back since. I buy the shaping ones that are £20. Perfect leg length and really do shape the bits you want shaping.

Mine are all from ASOS. Slightly more expensive (£25-30) but lots of styles and they do 28 and 26 inch legs. I'm 5"2 but like my jeans ankle length, so 26" are perfect

New Look have a petite range - I bought some jeggings there yesterday. I needed an 'interim' pair as I've put some weight on recently - higher waisted is definitely better. I actually tried some jeans in Monsoon, very average to look at but thought they'd 'do' ...until I realised they were £59!!

I tried on some in Tesco yesterday in a 12 short and they were pretty good. £22 I think? They're called Contour.

Sounds like I will be able to find something. Will need to investigate high waisted I think to reduce the muffin top.
