Hi! I'm 45, thick hair and not especially good at styling my hair (so would need low maintenance!) I've had a shortish Bob for years and am toying with the idea of having a short cut.
Should I? What sort of states would you recommend? Thanks!

Yes! If it suits your face shape, it doesn't matter what age you are.

I know two totally stunning older women with short hair my step-mum, who is in her mid-sixties and looks incredibly glamorous with a very short blonde pixie cut and a good friend in her 50s with a short dark bob. Both look fantastic and miles better than they did with long hair.

Suki- yours is fab. What texture is your hair and what's the front like? Just wondering if I could go like that

Polka it's fine and straight but I've a lot of it. Will try to find the front view but it's last year. It's shoulder length now.

If you've a good hairdresser who cuts well, it's an easy "do". I never had to dry it it was just cut well. Not sure now, why I grew it Grin

This, Polka... but it's tucked behind my ears.
