The boys clothes have improved this season, IMO.

If you look, there are some nice things there, I think. Some cack too, but fgs, like there's not cack on the Boden site (any of it, IMO - overpriced rubbish peddled by a sexist twunt).

pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 19:23

The womens clothes have gone downhill

hunkermunker · 31/03/2007 19:23

I don't like the stuff for me much though. Far too many long-length mad stripey tops in grey and primary colours or weird stuck-on embroidery stuff.

Fimbo · 31/03/2007 19:24

That Boden hotpotch top is horrendous.

hunkermunker · 31/03/2007 19:24

Oh, it IS - hideous, isn't it?!

Fimbo · 31/03/2007 19:25

I hate his patronising emails too. Why aren't the clothes just discounted, instead of all those cacky discounts he offers.

He is eminently slappable, IMO.

pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 19:30

What's a hotpotch top??

pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 19:33

Just looked it up on the Boden website & agree it is hideous! (Apologies to anyone who has this top & loves it!!)

Fimbo · 31/03/2007 19:34

Hotchpotch Top Monstrosity and no you're eyes aren't deceiving you Pinkchampagne!

OP posts:
pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 19:35

It's really vile!!!

hunkermunker · 31/03/2007 19:35

It should be called "Bet They'll Buy mismatched Offcuts, The Twunts", not Hotchpotch.

pinkchampagne · 31/03/2007 19:36

LOL!

DANCESwithaTruckLoadOfMiniEggs · 31/03/2007 19:40

I LIKE Next! Got VIP access yesterday and ordered a couple of things for dd. Popped in store today as I was passing and got a little pile of clothes for her again. There wasn't much online but certainly more in store. Nothing for me though . It's absolutely fine for work clothes when you don't want to spend loads of cash IMO. Stop being snobs....

Fimbo · 31/03/2007 20:00

I like being a Snob

Go to H & M if yoyu want cheapness, esp. for kids. Next is so dreary. The clothes reflect this country's general attitude, 'It'll do, so I'll get it.'

bozza · 31/03/2007 21:51

I am bored with Next. But did get some items from there as presents for my birthday. I find it v. middle of the road though. DS (6) likes it though. But he is very conservative. Makes me laugh. I bought him a lovely red quicksilver shirt from tkmaxx - hawaiian style with a surfer figure in outline - but he wouldn't wear it because "it's got flowers on". Insisted he came with me to buy a shirt and he found a nice, safe checked one in Next. Didn't mind the cheapie £2 t-shirt from Asda with a camper van and flowers in turquoise though.
