Looking for a comfortable bra that is not padded but gives you a smooth line under tight t shirts?

Since have children I have gone from a 36B to a 38D. I don't like wearing padded bras but want a smooth line under t shirts. Does such a bra exist?

They are called tshirt bras. Some are padded but lots arent. Or do you regard the thickness that stops your nipples showing through as padding?

milkyman · 17/08/2017 09:32

Yes after something that is not a t shirt bra. Have lots of those and don't like the padding.

M&S light as air bras are t-shirt bras but without much padding. I really like mine, as does DD2, but DSis isn't keen. Still prefer M&S t-shirt bras though. They are padded, but not hugely.

Anita bras give a smooth line and are very comfortable. They're not sexy though.

And not padded, I loathe padding or those weird foam bras that look like a prosthetic.

Gossard glossies

Here's a couple you might like-Fantasie and

Definitely Glossies.

I'm a 36ff and am wearing this today, really comfortable, perfect fit
PS. It says padded, but it's not noticeably so.

That Talia t-shirt bra looks as though it would be comfortable, but doesn't seem to come in a 30G. Always on the look out for a good t-shirt bra, ah well.

rightknockered · 17/08/2017 17:20

Don't people find that they get nipple visibility a la Friends with Glossies?
Mine have never gone down after breastfeeding my last

Tilapia · 17/08/2017 17:25

I'm the same size as you and I like wearing T shirts. I wear a Chantelle bra.

Talisin · 17/08/2017 17:35

These are good and very comfortable. Currently out of stock in your size online but they'll be back as they're one of their staples.

Branleuse · 18/08/2017 20:02

Yeah i do get a bit of vis-nip with glossies, but theyre unpadded and with no seams or stitching or fanciness across the bust. If you want something unpadded, visible nips is always a risk. Glossies are also really comfy, but i suggest going down a cup size
