I think the arm holes might be a bit too deeply cut to not show straps. Unless you've got one of them multi way jobs.

Not keen on the dress but I don't really do glamour.
Bra wise I'd get a racer back bra, I think the straps would be visible with a normal bra which would ruin the look.

I think you might need a strapless bra - it looks quite cut in at the shoulders, it's a bit difficult to tell from the picture, but I think the lining might stop at the top of the bust, so from there to the neck, it's just lace and bra straps would show through. Pretty dress though

You could try converting a normal bra to a racer with something like this.

Hi. I often wear this style of dress and a good bra will emphasise your body shape and give a good lift. I wouldn't chose strapless but you can buy a small bra accessories kit in M&S to turn your regular bra into a racer back bra (similar to the JL) or even use a paper clip to bring the two straps together at the back.

That's a brilliant idea about the bra converters as I think you get a much better shape with a Normal bra rather than strapless
Might order to try on

a nude wonderbra strapless would be fine under that- the one with the hands. Shape is fine and seamless

I have a nusexstrapless wonderbra but it's not comfy

Just not sure about the neck line
