Small, and without a shadow of a doubt the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoes known to man.

I wore them for my graduation and was almost in tears.

Have you tried any on yet?

Please do and try to walk around the shop as much as possible...

PacificDogwod · 14/08/2017 22:23

Small.

Gorgeous, but definitely sitting-down-shoes.

Duchessofealing · 14/08/2017 22:23

It depends on the style - simple fit true to size, but yo yo are small for example - look on net a porter and if they have your style the fit description is pretty accurate. I would think the style has something to do with comfort - my simple ones are like slippers, but I have others I don't wear

Whatthefoxgoingon · 14/08/2017 22:26

They are absolutely shit to wear unless you're a glutton for punishment

TSSDNCOP · 14/08/2017 22:28

They are instruments of torture. They transcend my Beauty Is Pain mantra. Even sitting down they hurt.

Hurty fuckers.

rednsparkley · 14/08/2017 22:33

Mine are true to size but narrow - which is fine for me as I have skinny feet.

I have found mine to be the most comfortable going out shoes I have ever owned. I have worn them all evening, danced and gone from pub to pub - and then walked home in them. No blisters, no pain, worth every single penny I paid for them,

LazySusan11 · 14/08/2017 22:33

Depends on the style but I've always gone true to size I have 5 pairs and every pair apart from the simples hurt like hell. They are sitting pretty or sex shoes Confused not all day all night jobs. CL himself admits he doesn't make his shoes for comfort they're apparently art.

Ktown · 14/08/2017 22:40

They are shoes made by a man who never wears heals.
Just for photos.

QueenofallIsee · 14/08/2017 22:44

v v narrow and they made me want to gnaw off my little toes - hurt.so.bad

Sold them and bought Manolos which rock

PacificDogwod · 14/08/2017 22:46

Yes, I suspect people with narrow feet get on slightly better with them.
Still love mine though - I take them out of their box, gaze at them adoringly and stroke them at times Grin not really

Nettletheelf · 14/08/2017 23:00

They run small, and they KILL.

I take them off under the desk (they are a relatively sensible design, i.e. no glitter or platforms), then put them on again when I have to walk anywhere, with a face like a slapped arse from the pain. Yes, I'm ridiculous.

chickenwings00 · 14/08/2017 23:00

I'm a size 4 and time them to be true to size. I also don't think they're painful after the initial couple of wears although I have the Biancas which have a bit of a platform below the ball of your foot which always helps!

KeiraH · 14/08/2017 23:20

They come up small. I am 39.5 but have to wear 40.5. The open toe shoes are actually ok comfort wise but the courts kill

sparechange · 14/08/2017 23:23

The sizes are right but they are very narrow so you might need to go up a half size if you have wide feet

I don't find them any more uncomfortable than other big heels but the parent ones have absolutely no 'give' in them and the leather is quite hard

And the red coating on the soles wears off as the second you walk in them, and the soles start looking quite scrappy. Some cobblers will put red soles on them but that looks even worse

Allwashedup · 14/08/2017 23:25

Depends on the style. My Biancas perfectly accomodate my wide small feet, but uncomfortable to wear for long amounts of time.

Notreallyhappy · 15/08/2017 07:12

Thanks for your comments.
I'm planning on getting some for a wedding, 100mm pink.
I Haven't tried them on yet but going to selfridges this week. The idea ofor £500 mail order shoes is wrong.
If they come home with me I too like pacificDogwoodwill be stroking them out of the box from time to timeGrin

I've a few pairs and they've never been any more uncomfortable than any other heels. One particular pair are actually mega comfy.

I'm a 39 usually but buy a 40 in Loubi.

DearTeddyRobinson · 15/08/2017 07:36

Mine are amazingly comfortable. But I have narrow feet and go for the lower heel. Mind you pregnancy destroyed my feet completely so I can't wear them any more

Feelingthestrain · 15/08/2017 07:41

Crippling, worn once only. Mine now sit in their box and mock my vanity!

Pradaqueen · 15/08/2017 07:43

I love heels, can manage a high pain threshold when it comes to wearing heels, but I agree with pp that they are indeed 'hurty fuckers' 😂

Unexpectedbaby · 15/08/2017 08:25

They are beautiful but I have never heard anyone describe them as anything but tortures to wear. I tried one of my managers on a few weeks back and the instep is insanely high in them, and I love in some kind of heels most days.

Longislandicetee · 15/08/2017 08:45

Louboutins are actually a torture device very geniusly disguised as very pretty shoes.Grin Don't say you haven't been warned OP!!

PassiveAggressiveFloofiness · 15/08/2017 08:46

I don't wear (or own Sad) any CL shoes atm but always found them very comfortable but my feet are extremely narrow especially around the ankles (normal shoes always slip off here for me). If you are between sizes, size up though.

They are definitely "indoor" shoes as the soles get damaged very easily. There is a place in London you can send them to to have the soles replaced, IIRC they cover with a thin layer of rubber, or I used to buy little pots of paint for touch ups where needed. They were called Red Soles I think?

I loved mine, and when I sold them I pretty much made my money back so I see them as an investment, and better value than disposable cheap shoes that don't last long which is what I buy now Wink

I love shoes Smile
