I am 25
I am 5ft 7
I am a size 12 with big boobs, small back, reasonable waist, roundish hips, ok legs, good ankles, arms and collarbone (!)

I don't want to to look like a fashion victim, but I do want to look a bit slimmer.

Have no idea but lucky you!

Isn't always the case that when you have some cash you can't find anything you like?

The trouble is that I'm not really into fashion-y stuff. I wear the shapes that suit me rather than what's "in", which makes it awkward if it isn't the season for the shapes/colours I suit (grr).

I always feel like I'm in dressing up clothes when I try on fashionable guff (like most of the eyebrow raising guff on the topshop site)

wrap tops
deep v necks (with vest under if too revealing)
wide v necks or sweetheart necklines to show collarbones (beware 'wench' look though)
knee length skirts - try a-line, pencil and tulip shapes

do not touch smock tops with gathered bust
do not go to Topshop, Primark or Dorothy Perkins, they are catwalk led and hence currently full of scary 70s sacks
go to M&S and East and Monsoon and Principles and Next and Hobbs (even if too pricey they are good for getting shape ideas)

Straight leg (not skinny) jeans in dark blue or black from River Island. Great fit, very flattering and smart as opposed to 'fashion'.

Top wise, longer length with cap sleeves can look nice and good if you have curves.

In terms of showing off ankles and waist, you could definitely do a wrap dress witha deep v in a bold pattern.

Mrs B has loads of links to great ones on some other threads.

Agree re Topshop - grim at moment.
M&S Limited Edition have nice stuff in. Per Una a bit odd right now.
