fake eyelashes

im going out saturday night.. (first girlie night out in 2 years! arrrrrrrrrrggg)
i've got nice eyes, and they look fab with black mascara and eyeliner...quite striking (ahem..not being vain!!)
i've never tried fake eyelashes...want to give them ago...good idea or not? any tips or pointers?

oooh glam!! You can get natural looking ones and the best thing to do is stick them on as close to your own lash line as possible and when the glue has dried, use black liquid eyeliner to hide the join and a touch of your own mascara - where are you going

hiya, u can buy fake eyelashes with diamontes (sp?) across the top from superdrug..they're about £5 if you fancy being a bit wild

I always find that they come unstuck halfway through the night (both the preglued and the glue yourself ones). You'll be chatting away, several sheets to the wind, thinking that all those people are making eyes at you because you look so utterly fabulous, go to the ladies and realise that one of your eyelashes has either fallen off or is hanging half off leaving you looking like you have a lazy eye < rather like this

faerie - go for it. Hope you have a fab time and if you are p*ssed and one ends up stuck to your cheek you will be too drunk too care lol!!
