What should I wear to a wedding at 20 weeks pregnant?

I'm only going to the night do, but I'll be just over 20 weeks and I'm already pretty big at 16 tbh
My boobs are the size of a satellite

I literally have no idea where to start - style/shape/length/pattern ??
And I generally feel a bit gross atm so almost don't even want to start because I get all huffy that nothing will look nice and strop off Blush

I'm usually a size 10 (I've just gone up to a maternity 12) boobs are currently bordering around a 32E although haven't been properly fitted in this pregnancy yet, am around 5ft 7, brown hair, blue eyes, fair skin
Will someone dress me pretty please? Smile

Oh god I'm having the same nightmare. I have a couple to go to but one I will be fairly well on so will hopefully have had chance to settle into being a tent wearing elephant and have found my style again (if I ever had one!). The first will be at 19 weeks and I have no idea how revolting I will feel or how huge I will be. Nor do I have any idea where does nice maternity occasion wear that doesn't cost the earth since I'll probably never wear it again!!

I appreciate that I am of absolutely zero help, but I hear you on the feeling disgusting sulking! It's pretty much my default position right now, which leads to eating cake, which does NOT help the feeling revolting situation!!

Ha at least we can blame the hormones ey!
I had a big tantrum today and said I wasn't going "I'm inoy a night guest so it's not as if they'll even care, in just staying at home in my pjs!!" BlushGrin

I wore quite a plain Isabella Oliver wrapover dress to a wedding with nice jewellery. I managed to feel quite elegant despite being the size of an elephant at the time.

(I got mine on eBay)

I recall Seraphine having lots of pretty dresses. I've attached a couple from www.seraphine.com

Oh loads of lovely stuff on that site, thanks for the link I've never heard of it
Glad you mentioned eBay too - maternity stuff is soooo expensive!
I've also got a baby shower (not mine) the month after the wedding, I'm just wondering whether I could wear the same thing to both and get my monies worth or whether I'd have grown too much ...

Have you looked at topshop? They have some nice dresses and not too expensive. I had a few jersey wrap types and wore them throughout my pregnancy.

Ebay is great for occasion maternity wear. Things have generally only been worn a couple of times.
You should also be able to sell it on afterwards.

I like this one, but I love red!!

I posted this dress on a thread yesterday too! It is much more flattering than it looks on the model. I wore it after my baby was born too. I've just sold it on eBay for less than £5 and I'd only worn it once so you can definitely get some good bargains on eBay!

PrimeraVez · 14/08/2017 06:43

Definitely ASOS! I had so many great (and cheap) stretchy dresses from there when I was pg.

MiniAlphaBravo · 14/08/2017 06:47

If it's maternity you'll be able to wear it throughout pregnancy!

I agree with asos, Isabella Oliver and sometimes tooshop & H&M have nice dresses.
