Why haven't we got tracht? It is such a swizz. It would be hilarious to go out in one of those, accessorised by some frothing steins (big german beer glasses with lids). The Scandinavians have a version as well but their outfits are less raunchy.

Some of those are really lovely, but that one perfect for the next time The Sound Of Music singalong is in town, pricey though.

I do like going out in mine - and once over the initial weirdness then lederhosen are incredibly sexy on a man .

The Sound of Music is my favourite film - I fully intend to visit the sites in Salzburg wearing my Tracht and singing 'Doe a Deer' the entire time! Or book yourself a visit to Oktoberfest or the Dunkelbierfest or Fruhlingfest and get a dress for the occasion - you could spend a day or more trying them all on in the shops here if you do it for Oktoberfest (less around at other times of year).
