Boden new stuff- yet another thread.

I'm underwhelmed. In fact I think so far - wait for all the new season items to come out- it's one of the worst so far.

I think there is 1 dress I may order- the ruched Rita dress- but everything else is terrible.

I used to buy basics from them each season but so far, if I like the style, the colours are crap and vice versa.

It's the same old styles they have had for ages, just slightly different colours. I mean just how many everyday cardigans does a girl want? Ditto Richmond trousers. I am buying less and less each year.

Some of the dresses are okay and do have sleeves, but the colour range is so limited. Black, navy, green and pink or red. The patterns (spots or tiny flower sprigs ) are a bit twee imo. I like the styles of some dresses but there isn't a colour that grabs me - only navy which is boring for social events . There are a couple of dresses I might try.

I think Boden does stuff that is okay for work (in certain environments - not mine as their dresses are too formal) but they don't do much for 'after work' - ie going out to dinner.

I used to buy trousers but now the range is limited to stretchy jersey stuff (already have those), cotton (too cold for winter) or jeans (and having a problem getting a pair that fits - most have 'saddle bag thighs' or are sprayed on.)

There are quite a few plain dresses that I would like for work but am currently on mat leave so it makes no sense to buy them now.

I love love love the coloured Jennifer pumps with the T-bar, but €160!!!!!! Ouch!
