I really need a good facial moisturiser, that is for acne prone skin, my skin can be quite dry at times so I need something decent but doesn't cost a fortune.

I've tried cetaphil but it seemed to break me out.

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense in either light or riche. Both are amazing, and have changed my acne prone skin, I use it along with their 3 step effaclar system. All their products are excellent for sensitive skin.

Ren Evercalm has changed my skin. It's amazing stuff. Not particularly cheap though!

I have found the only thing that works for me is using Garnier deep pore wash after removing make up everyday to make sure my face is completely clean and then just using eye cream at night and no face cream at all. I know it sounds crazy but it really does work for my acne prone combination skin (I'm 36). For daytime I use Oil of Olay fluid - the one in the yellow packaging. I find the normal / combination one really good.

I spent 15 years working for Clinique and tried just about every product there is... BlushGrin I do like their dramatically different gel however, as a good oil free moisturiser.

Another vote for la roche possay-I use the effaclar duo and love it. It has definitely helped my skin and reduced the redness. Also a good mattifier. I use it in mornings and use a night cream at night...currently still trying to find a night cream I like though!

Another vote for La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo here, the breakout corrector is a godsend

Vichy Normaderm is the one that changed my skin, they do an anti-ageing one too for the injustice of spots and wrinkles Shock

I've found switching to an oil free moisturiser has really helped. Any type. I know as soon as I've used something with oil in it as I begin to get the deep sore spots under my cheeks.
I'm using a Clinique one just now but have ask used Simple oil free.
