Best UV/swim hair protectant for fragile haired, highlighted, curlies?

Going on holiday in a couple of weeks. It'll be sunny, hot and lots of in-out of chlorinated pool. I try to keep my hair out of the water, mostly because my I'm prone to swimmer's ear but it does have the added bonus of protecting my hair a bit (but not enough!).

Ideally, I'd like to sit with the protectant in my hair for much of the poolside days. I have fine, dry, wavy/loose curls which are highlighted and my scalp is really sensitive to SLS and fragrances (itchy, scabby & lumpy). I would usually use PK swimcap but I wonder if there is something better for my curls?

I swear by Philip Kingsley one...Swimcap . I have short hair but had fine curly hair at one stage. Use the Elasticer maybe as well.

I swim almost every day. Good selection on Amazon including ones that cover your ears as in properly shaped for ear cover.

I used Kerastase K Soleil cc creme on holiday recently. It's a leave in conditioner. I put it through my dry hair every morning when I was going to be around the pool all day and washed it out at night. I was also careful to wear a hat but my hair remained in great condition and the colour wasn't bleached out.
