In a rut with footwear - alternatives to bloody ankle boots!

Somehow, day in day out regardless of the weather, I wear Western style suede ankle boots - beige, tan, grey or black all with a 3 inch heel - this is key as I'm 5 Ft 3 and need the height.
What can I wear instead that I can walk in easily and that will go with skinny jeans - but still have a heel. I need a block heel and a strap as I just walk out of court shoes and stilettos are no good for everyday as the heels would wear down too quickly.
I do have a lovely pair of wedge gladiators but they are open toe which aren't allowed at work.
Any suggestions?

My problem too. I live in ankle boots (incidentally, where do you buy yours from?)

I have bought some block heel loafers recently www.russellandbromley.co.uk/courts/atta-bow/invt/236138. They are the closest comfy alternative.

Thanks Ana - I just walk out of court shoes though - never worked out why but I always need a strap.
I get my boots from Office, ASOS, Zalando and Ash if I'm feeling spendy!

Me too! That's why I get loafers, the top is a bit longer so your foot doesn't come out easily.

I'm shorter than you, life got easier when I stopped believing I "needed" the hight and allowed myself to wear flats! I also need a strap across my foot. Oasis had some lovely pointed flats with and ankle strap.

Wedges (with strap!) are good with jeans in warmer weather.

I'm only slightly taller than you and I don't get needing to wear heels for 'height'. Sometimes a particular outfit looks better with a heel e.g. a party dress but not everyday clothes like jeans.
Embrace flats/lower heels and you'll have plenty of styles to choose from.

Don't you just need some wedges with a closed tie? There are loads of espadrilles types around at the mo. And I'm the same height as you and mainly wear flats - what do you need the height for? Are you a shelf stacker missing a ladder?

Closed toe...

Just bought lots of sale shoes online at Oasis. Oops
