Hourglass trouser / top - for the love of god, please help!

I am desperate to start wearing trousers.

I found a lovely pair of slim cut pedal pushers, which I bought along with a slouchy type top. The top makes me look pregnant - I have big boobs (32HH) and the top just kind of hangs down and hides my small waist. Tighter tops are uncomfortable and shows my muffin top when I sit down.

I have no idea what top will be comfortable / stylish / show off my small waist. I was thinking about a top which has elastic under the bust and hangs down loosely from there? Does such a thing exist?

Please someone help! I have been trying to get into trousers for years. Should I just give up??

Have you had a look at Pepperberry. I've bought a leather jacket, maxi dress and top and all have been great. I'm watching a couple of last years stock on eBay as they are a bit pricey. I'be currently got my eye on this top

I'd have a look at a wrap top. Try Phase Eight.
Also, are the trousers too tight? I'm an hourglass and wear tops tucked in, so normally make sure the trousers are slightly looser - I find this way more flattering with trousers than skirts.

Any links to the trousers?

Giving up was my option. Dresses and leggings with short dresses fit so so much better

Sorry! Have been too busy to check in, but thanks for all replying.

HermiioneSnape02 - I do like pepeprberry and I like the linked top although I think it wouldn't be loose enough to disguise my muffin top

these and these are the trouser I bought.

I wore the navy ones yesterday, and realised that actually I still have the age old problem of them being fine on the thigh but too baggy around the waist (in answer to CaseStudyResearch). There are no belt loops and anyway, I don't like the bulkiness of belts.

SIGH. I think Petalbird might have hit the nail on the head
