I'm looking to get holographic hair by the 17th august really. I have very light blonde hair already (will post pics tomorrow) that I could tone to a grey but I'm looking to do it at home with high street dyes.
If it looks shit it's not the end of the world, but it is my wedding party on the weekend of the 18th/19th/20th so I'm going to chop off 4-5inches of hair, go for a wavy collarbone bob, and dye to a light silver before putting in some pastel colour to make it holographic. Need tips on which colours to use, is there any trick to putting particular shades next to each other? any brands- (was thinking of using the schwarzkopf pastel range, or possibly I've seen bleach London do a couple of pastels- less sure about manic panic/directions as they'll be too bright) how best to lift to light silver and how to maintain.
Also without frizzling all my hair off, but I'm hoping a good chop will help that - done at the hairdressers. I need to do it at home partially for financial reasons, I just don't have £100+ to spend on hair; partially because I will struggle to find someone to watch small children for that long and partially because I genuinely think that any hairdresser round here would look at me as if I've got 3 heads if I mentioned something like this
I'm 28, 5" tall, very cool skin tone normally but tanned well this summer and a chunky 14 (as opposed to a slender 14, not saying size 14 is chunky).
If anyone can give any info/recommendations I am literally all ears!
