Low cost foundation for oily skin from the high street

Hi, I'm 41 and have always had really oily skin. I'm starting a new job on Thursday and I need to get some fairly cheap but effective foundation for oily skin, that I can get from the high street, like Boots or Superdrug. My skin is quite pale but gets easily flushed. I also sweat quite easily. I find with some foundations, when I get a bit sweaty, I end up with little smears of foundation as the day goes on. Any recommendations? Many thanks.

Revlon colorstay or Rimmel 24hr, both excellent staying power

Reckon colorstay is my all time favourite

The maybelline fit me in a squeezy tube. Use primer then a thin layer of finely milled powder, then foundation, then powder on t-zone. Setting spray on top.

It. Will. Not. Budge.

Another vote for revlon colourstay

Yes to revlon colourstay. I very very rarely have to use a powder during the day to take away shine.

Another vote for revlon colourstay!

Thank you all for the advice, I will be going into town tomorrow to try these out. Also, I forgot to ask, how do you know which is the right shade, in case their isn't a make-up consultant? I always end up with a shade too pale or too dark! Thank you.

I took my own little pots in and took some samples to get the right shade.

Test close shades on your jawline in small stripes then go outside into natural light to see which one is closest to your actual skin

So make sure you take a small mirror
