Sainsbury's do a similar one in orange

Mmmmm 100% polyester.

Although if it goes in the sale I'll buy it in the largest size for my Halloween pumpkin costume.

SilverBirchWithout · 23/07/2017 23:23

Loathe them both, but actually think the orange one is marginally better than the M&S pink one.

BenedictCumberbeyatch · 23/07/2017 23:27

Does someone love it? Who is this person? Are they quite well?

I do think the orange looks fractionally better than the pink.

NikiBabe · 24/07/2017 01:14

She's gotta have it.

On a cold day in hell!

Gingernaut · 24/07/2017 01:26

Debenhams have it in black, black with daisies and sunshine yellow.

H&M also have a similar dress.

user1955 · 24/07/2017 10:02

Even Boden have a toned down version.

reuset · 24/07/2017 10:09

It's slightly better than the pink blancmange dress I suppose.

Bluntness100 · 24/07/2017 10:11

The fitted ones are marginally better. The issue with the m&s one is it's tent like shape from your boobs down, with the weird back not to mention colour and material

Fairylea · 24/07/2017 10:13

Orange one is marginally better... marginally. ShockGrin

IdentifiesAsYoda · 24/07/2017 10:16

The Sainsbury's one is a better shape and the shorter length makes it a bit funkier

But the pool of people who can carry of that colour...

There is a nice dress hiding somewhere deep inside them, but thtis isn't it

KoalaDownUnder · 24/07/2017 10:21

'Couple with brown loafers for that autumnal look'

What, like an actual leaf?

IdentifiesAsYoda · 24/07/2017 10:22

Or like a pumpkin sitting on a turd

I don't mind the orange one - the colour is fab and it doesn't have that ridiculous tie thing at the back like the pink one does. Not sure I'll be rushing out to grab one for myself though...

Those dresses are all a knock off of a mega expensive Roksanda Ilincic design. I saw the original in Harvey Nicks. The material is heavier but it's still polyester. £800 or something!

Gingernaut · 24/07/2017 22:01

Nettletheelf is right. From Spring/Summer 2012, no less

patientzero · 24/07/2017 22:08

I have a very similar dress, though mine is fitted at the waist and is dark purple, which I bought in Oasis in 2010. Mine is nice though. Honest.

I can imagine it is. I want to like this dress, and I can imagine in the right colour, the right shape and length that it is nice

Chestervase1 · 25/07/2017 07:52

These dresses are mass produced in China with slight variations for different stores. There is very little design and manufacturing in the U.K. I believe this is also the reason that the colours are slightly "off" and do not suit skin tone etc.

softlyspokensophie · 25/07/2017 14:34

I'd like that dress in a plainer colour.
Which l guess defeats the whole thing!
