yes, tan lines indeed! Having seen earlier thread about bikinis for toddlers, thought you were referring to that - perhaps a couple of holes in selective places.

I think this sort of swimsuit is nice on someone with a fabby figure, but otherwise has the potential to look terrible. Which a bikini probably wouldn't.

I'm at work Cod, are you trying to get me into trouble. god they're awful on anyone. seen one in the flesh - clearly worn by someone lacking in confidence to go teh whole hog and wear a bikini. all it did was draw attention to her wobbly middle bits (which weren;t actually that wobbly)- she'd have looked better in a bikini. as for toddlers, in fact I've just seen you aren't askiong about toddlers (wa about to write taht I'd doubt you;d get them. derrr.)

I do think you would end up loooking like a piebald pony if you get a tan.

And can you imagine that one with ropes (like a hammock) if you sat up / leaned forward? you would look as if a parachute was collapsing around you.

nogoes · 26/03/2007 18:03

Do cutty outy ones stop you you looking like one of those old ladies you see on the beach with big fat bellies and stick legs? Because that is what I look like in a swimsuit at the moment

Cod, they're bloody awful!! I wear bikinis which I think are much more flattering but I get ones for big norks from Bravissimo which have bra like tops and yank my tits into something resembling pre-3-kids
