What skirt shall I get - going to France next week, will want a skirt for the holiday

I currently live in long tunic tops/dresses wfrom Topshop or Primark with jeans. I'll want a skirt - I want something knee length but as I hate my legs (heavy, fat knees, but probably not as bad as I think they are) I never know what kind to get.

I had a multicoloured cotton A line one that I loved from French Connection about two years ago.

Oh yes, sorry, I remember now.
I posted on your travel query thread suggesting cheapo flights (I've found a plane fare to Rodez for £0.01), but I think I killed the thread. I hope it will be sunny, winter seems to have come to France in springtime, after having had spring weather in wintertime.
