I'm 47, have combination skin but nothing too dry or too greasy, just getting older!

Have nearly finished my Liz Earle moisturiser (a gift)
Love the smell,of it and it's lightness, though it still does the job.

Any ideas?

I like Eucerin Aquaporin

FerretsAreFeminists · 13/07/2017 22:16

This might sound stupid but I just use the Boots cucumber one now. It's only £1.50 but I've been using it for about a year now and it suits me fine. I've even had a few compliments on my skin when I go out without makeup and had people asking what skincare I use so I know it's not just me.

MozzchopsThirty · 13/07/2017 22:28

I love Olay total effect or 7 effect or whatever it's called
It's very light and gentle, I like the smell and it's usually on offer in Superdrug
SPF 25 too

bunnybleu · 13/07/2017 22:44

I have similar skin to you and the best I've used is Olay Total Effects, fragrance free. Cheapest place to buy is Savers, although it's often on offer in Boots or the supermarkets. I love LE products but I do find that even the light moisturiser is too heavy, although I do like Superskin as a night cream.

LalalalaaaCantHearYou · 14/07/2017 08:23

Why not just buy Liz Earle again as it's under £20
Best place is own website or qvc as you can get combo deals i.e. If you buy a collection with more than one you'll save a bit more off

bloodypassword · 14/07/2017 11:53

I think Liz Earle is expensive, even on qvc with deals. There are clearly cheaper alternatives. I'd rather save money to be honest but everyone's different.

The Vichy aqualia range is really nice (and sometimes on offer from boots). The light moisturiser (in the pot) sounds like it will fit your requirements and is in your price range. The rich moisturiser is lovely in winter and not too heavy.

Boots 'youth maintain' is really light yet really moisturising. There's a day and a night cream. Both lovely - my skin feels great after using them.

Rainatnight · 14/07/2017 15:52

Ooh, it looks like that Superdrug naturally radiant stuff is BOGOF at the moment, though

thegirlthatcant · 14/07/2017 19:08

i have similar skin type
bought the aldi caviar range to find it didnt suit my skin at all
it smelt very scented - just like dame mentioned earlier ended up giving mine away was very disappointed
going to try the superdrug range now
