Help me find a dress for my baby's christening ....

I'm currently still a chubby frump 8 months after having my baby, the christening is next month and I need to find a dress to suit me! I'm 5"3 and weigh 12 stone and am an apple shape. I need sleeves as my upper arms are huge and need long dress for same reason. I'm looking at size16 probably. Feel so unattractive right now and disappointed I didn't start my post baby diet. Please can anyone suggest any dresses currently in shops? Thank you!

Lindy Bop! Just ordered myself a dress from there for DD's Christening

I would look dreadful in many of these :(

What's your usual style? Scarlet and jo and quite nice but also quite retro.

What do you normally like?

Dalesgirl16 · 12/07/2017 23:43

I'm not into retro as I don't think it suits my current shape. Don't really have a shape, just trying to look as slim and smart as I can.

I don't think either are good for a short and chubby :(. Love the long asos dress

Does it have to be a dress? I actually think if you completely cover yourself up you'll end up looking bigger. Show us a dress you would love to wear but feel you can't and I'll look for something similar

Yes I will look like a frump!
