It's still cold out but is it acceptable to wear 'sandals' with jeans for going out yet?

Fed up of wearing boots. Can I wear sandals with jeans for going out for a meal tonight? Friends will all have boots on but really want to wear my new shoes!!

YES! Both are lovely. Evening is different to day (and Liz Hurley only ever wears sandals winter and summer, though she is a bit odd)

Your toes will FREEZE, I tried to wear my flip flops on the school run last week and nearly ended up with frost bite

I shall be wearing jeans avec sandals when I venture out on Saturday nite - not only because I dont have anything else to wear but also because spring is (nearly) here - go for it (also like the green ones) x

Am being driven into town, taxi home so won't be walking about in freezing cold. Was just going to wear smart jeans, white shirt and one of those pairs of shoes.

Yeah go for it. Always used to go out clubbing in sandals in the middle of winter & never came to any harm!
