Evening perfume recommendations pleade

I've been given some birthday money and would like to spend
it on a "night out" perfume. I wear Paul Smith Rose during the day but want something more distinct for the evening.
Any recommendations please?
TIA

The old classic Guerlains are all gorgeous. Vol De Nuit, L'Heure Bleue, Jicky, Chamade... spendy but you get the quality you pay for and you won't smell like every other woman in the room.

Thanks for the advice.

Perfume is a Message, what do you think of the different varieties of Poison? Do you think Poison girl is better than the original? I remember Poison from the 80s and it being very strong.

Samsara by Guerlian is my all time favourite. I can't wear it any more as it was my late sister's favourite too. It's just too evocative of her and I get all tearful. Sad

I really like Black Opium by YSL. I tried it because i loved the advert Blush and ended up loving the scent. Its definitely evening as its quite a rich scent...

Poison is one of my old guilty pleasures. I recently snagged a mini esprit De parfum of the original from eBay and it's amazing.
The flankers to me are just lacking that wow factor somehow. Poison, like Obsession, Opium, Angel etc - love them or hate them but they were game changers and deserve appreciation just for having existed.

Not sure I'd wear any of them anymore but they make me smile.

I was surprised at how similar Loulou was to Poison when I got a miniature recently.

Sorry to hear about your sister Disorderedallsorts, but thank you for your comment.

Ok, so I must have tried a dozen different scents, including some not mentioned and thought my favourite was Chanel Chance. I left the shop to have lunch and have a thanks no before buying and the Dior Addict, which I was wearing on my skin, appealed more to me. It has a very apt name since I keep wanting to sniff it every now and then! It's very different to what I wear during the day but I'm happy with it.

I think I will give that one a try.

I just sprayed myself with the pink Paul Smith perfume. I had forgotten how much I liked it. I might treat myself as it's only £20 in Boots just now.

Jo Malone, Velvet Rose and Oud is a winner.
