And, if yes, what shoes, bangles, etc?

It's grey, am thinking maybe hot pink?

It's a joint 30th party in a marquee in the garden.

That looks fine, shoulders and knees are covered.

Hot pink would look good!

Thanks!

Gorgeous dress

That's a lovely dress. Can I ask where it is from? My DD needs to buy a grey bridesmaid dress and this one looks perfect.

It's called maya and is on asos. I'm wearing the navy bardot version as a bridesmaid in a few months. Pink sounds good op.

I came on here because i read the title and couldn't believe people were having a party where they dressed as indians i was always the cowboy back in the 80's

Took me two reads of the thread to figure you mean a party where the hosts have indian heritage, as in India the country. I think?

Bibs2014 · 02/07/2017 12:25

Seven - have you tried it on, is it nice?

Yes it's an Indian party for Indian people not cowboys and Indians 😃

Yes I have, in navy. I preferred your v-neck one but the rest of the bridesmaids preferred the bardot one, so I was outvoted. Lovely dress, very flattering.

Yes its lovely. Plus its sparkly and modest, two essential factors for an Indian wedding. If you go for the grey lots of silver bangles and silver bag and shoes. Most Indian ladies match their accessories to the colour of their outfit. If you wear hot pink I would wear either silver or gold or hot pink accessories if you can.

The pink/blush colour is really pretty too if you're considering that one. I really like the look of the grey one. It has a zip up the back in case you didn't know. Lots of floaty fabric in the skirt for twirling around.

Yes absolutely.

I have a few Maya dresses that I have worn to Indian weddings/parties
