DP Shaving

At times I have felt like the only woman in living memory that has never undertaken some form of beauty regime down below if you know what I mean (!). Anyway, I am going to take the plunge and whip it all off once I have settled on which cream to use. My DP has offered to do it for me which I quite like the idea of, however I would be interested to know if anyone else lets their significant other undertake such an intimate job and if it is pleasurable?

Well it was (mostly) all taken off last night and although it feels a bit strange I do like it. I also liked the intimacy and to that end the following couple of hours were quite nice too.

PratStick · 02/07/2017 14:32

Um ok?

BlahBlahBlahEtc · 02/07/2017 14:44

So it was a sex thing after all Hmm

TrojanWhore · 02/07/2017 14:56

Of course it was a sex thing.

But OP wanted to castigate all those who pointed out the blazingly obvious as somehow defective.

New variant of the "you're all bitches" threads, perhaps?

AfunaMbatata · 02/07/2017 15:33

Perv

AfunaMbatata · 02/07/2017 15:35

Btw, I have no objection to pervs as such but they should post in the sex topic!

sxround · 02/07/2017 17:15

Get a grip, and loosen up.

OP posts:
AfunaMbatata · 02/07/2017 17:40

I blame my kegle8 ...

RoseAndRose · 02/07/2017 17:42

"Get a grip, and loosen up."

Is that what you said to your DP?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 02/07/2017 17:44

I don't think it's pervy in itself, DH shaves me occasionally because he can see better than I can - my bad back makes it difficult to bend down enough. And it can lead to sex but isn't the precursor in itself.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/07/2017 17:47

There's a sex section, you know.

PratStick · 02/07/2017 17:59

The pervy bit was that the poster was clearly after stories.

I'm all for happy consensual perversion Grin

sxround · 02/07/2017 20:15

I am disabled and this is one of the reasons why it came about. Didn't want to bring this into the conversation as it is not relevant, but sadly there appears to be a few narrow-minded folk about...

OP posts:
AfunaMbatata · 02/07/2017 20:35

Do you not get it's the fact you asked about it being pleasurable that makes it odd and should be in the sex section?!

AkimboLimbo · 02/07/2017 20:38

I think you'd be hard pushed to find many people singing the praises of lady garden maintenance as an erotic activity
If you have never been shaved by your partner then you are probably not in a position to judge.

Shaving, done well, can leave a very smooth finish. It won't last as long as waxing but it is not painful fucking agony either! It doesn't lead to itchy regrowth if you do it properly.

It's a very intimate act. It can be erotic but doesn't have to be. It can definitely be pleasurable.

Fair enough! I'm curious what is pleasurable about it? As you say, I've not done it so I'd be interested to know

I do shave now because you can't wax with a Lumea, I get a very smooth finish when it's done - although I can't get every single hair removed as I can with a wax. But it grows back so fucking quickly!!! I only have a few areas that are harder to laser where there is any regrowth, but omg that smooth feeling really doesn't last very long

It isn't itchy for me but it's very very easy for it to be itchy unless you've got your technique down pat

Waxing needn't be painful either. My waxes barely hurt at all and were over in 5 mins

The Lumea hurts a fuck of a lot more tbh!!

(I've just done my Sunday ladygarden maintenance session and DH steers well clear as neither of us find the depilation process remotely arousing...!)

M0stlyBowlingHedgehog · 02/07/2017 21:00

Drip, drip, drip. (That's the OP btw, not the hot wax).

sxround · 02/07/2017 21:00

We used DP's double edged safety razor with (obviously) a brand new blade. A decent quality shaving soap (don't ask me what brand he has) and then finished off with some L'oreal quenching gel which was lovely and soothing. 24 hours in and no itching at all!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/07/2017 21:11

Nothing to do with being narrow minded. As I said, there is a sex section if you want to talk about the pleasure of shaving.

PratStick · 02/07/2017 21:12

What does your disability have to do with asking for stories or getting off while shaving?

PratStick · 02/07/2017 21:13

You might want to ask him to shave your palms.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/07/2017 21:17

Absolutely nothing just a bit of drip, drip drip feed. Hmm

M0stlyBowlingHedgehog · 02/07/2017 21:37

Prat Grin - genius!

AddictedToDrPepper · 02/07/2017 22:49

Folk need to shave their palms? I didn't think any hair could grow there? Confused

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/07/2017 22:55

Palms definitely need shaving on this thread!
