Budget up to around £30 and have to be able to buy it online.

Any ideas?

What are you doing for the party? Accessorize if you are doing a family thing.
Pretty tunic dress and shorts/leggings if she is larking about

Tumblethumps · 01/07/2017 16:11

Leggings and tshirt? That's what my DD wore to her 2nd birthday party; and her third. We had a bouncy castle/slide thing up in the garden so stretchy and comfy was perfect.

TeaBelle · 01/07/2017 16:12

Denim dungaree shorts and T-shirt (next)

Tumblethumps · 01/07/2017 16:13

And actually it will probably be jeans and tshirt for her 4th in Sept as she wants a den building party like DS3 had.

Crabbo · 01/07/2017 16:14

Depends what you're doing, inside/outside etc?

daimbar · 01/07/2017 16:14

Thanks, it's just a hired out hall with party games. She usually lives in leggings and tops from H&M so thought I would get her something nice but I'm a bit clueless what's out there.

If you're meaning a pretty dress then IMO they're pretty impractical for a party. I know my boys would hate to be constrained by a puffy dress so I always assume DD would be the same.

Clalpolly · 01/07/2017 21:27

Monsoon has the same kind of gear only a bit pricier. Prepare for her to get it wonderfully messy.

nancy75 · 01/07/2017 21:31

Have a look on eBay for monsoon party dresses

ShimmeringIce · 01/07/2017 21:33

Next "I Am 2" tshirt. Comfort trumps everything for kids!

DandelionAndBedrock · 01/07/2017 21:39

Polarn y Pyret has some nice things in the sale.

MrsLettuce · 01/07/2017 21:40

this and these? Very pretty and totally practical.

MrsLettuce · 01/07/2017 21:40

X post. Yes indeed

Onthehighseas · 01/07/2017 21:42

Looking back at dd's 2nd birthday photos, nothing at all as she took everything off and ran around starkers for most of the day Grin

DandelionAndBedrock · 01/07/2017 21:45

Yay, I always think you have great taste MrsLettuce. Although I was eyeing up the flamingo jumpsuit and blithely ignoring toileting impracticalities Grin.

SoftSheen · 01/07/2017 21:52

One of these dresses, currently on sale at Boden.
