50 - new job need to look a bit edgy and on trend

Starting a new hairdressing job - need to look fashionable and slightly edgy rather than my usual more comfortable mobile look.
How can I do it without looking like mutton, spending too much, it taking too much time ?
Also need to update my make up - I wear quite a bit now but fairly natural - what will up date it and make me look more polished ?

congratulations on your new job! All black, statement necklace/scarf in one of 'your' colours, make up lesson, flat black ballet pumps and ask one of your new colleagues for a new edgy haircut?

What shape are you and what colouring do you have?

I'd agree with the others. Perhaps some pieces from Cos, they do lots of more edgy shapes and great statement accessories. There are some great flats about at the moment that would be great for hairdressing. Flatforms or some great wedges in Office recently. Good luck!

I'm 5 2 and newly 16 rather than quite a bit larger ! Still loosing so not wanting to spend loads !!! Shape wise I'm top heavy and quite musclky - HOC autumn At Nat Rom classic mash up style wise 😂 i think the statment neclace us a fab idea !!!

Lucky you being an autumn - I think that means that gold suits you best and that turquoise is a good colour for you? How about these as ideas for a statement necklace?

Oohhh yes love those - just been told they want me to wear black which is harsh on me so a statement necklace in turquoise and told is perfect x
