Shower gel that will make me smell like I've just come out of a spa

Just that really

Was in a gym the other day by the spa area and it just smelt soooo good. Is there anything that properly captures that? Don't mind spending a little more money than usual...

I think the White Company has a couple of quite new scents that really remind me of that spa-like smell. I have the Restore candle and there is a Relax one that has lavender in it. You could pop into a store if there is one near you and have a sniff!

Restore body wash

FoodGloriousFud · 26/06/2017 19:31

I like Molton Brown Bushukhan.

caramelgirl · 26/06/2017 19:32

Waiteose sell their own brand called SenSpa. As a spa aficionado I reckon it has the edge. Not sweet at all but interesting and not aggressively herbal like eg Aveda can be.

ShesAStar · 26/06/2017 19:35

I was coming on to say SenSpa as well, really lovely Spa like scents. I like the yellow one best.

Birdsbeesandtrees · 26/06/2017 19:36

ESPA - the bergamot one.

scaryclown · 26/06/2017 19:37

Neil's yard body wash'll do it everytimeGrin

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 26/06/2017 19:39

Another vote for the Espa ones. A friend bought me a mini bottle for a treat and I am hoarding it.

Bluntness100 · 26/06/2017 19:39

Next time you are there pop into the reception area and just say it smells lovely, can you ask what it is. You'll probably find they will tell you and may even sell it.

Kiwi32 · 26/06/2017 19:42

I second white company ones already mentioned (and get a diffuser for bathroom while you're at it, makes me feel so fancy). Or molton brown.

catgames · 26/06/2017 19:51

The La Source range by crabtree and evelyn is pricey but smells amazing and very spa-like. Hilton hotels often have the miniatures so i stockpile freebies whenever i can!

Molton Brown's Rose and Rhubarb shower gel and body lotion are gorgeous and smell amazing in my bathroom. I've barred the DCs from there because they make it smell like bottoms.

Jo Malone's shower gels are incredible, too, and their scent really lingers.

MumBod · 26/06/2017 20:07

Waitrose essentials mandarin and ginger. Absolutely gorgeous and about two quid.

LizTaylorsFabulousTurban · 26/06/2017 20:07

Elemis Frangipani is gorgeous.

buckeejit · 26/06/2017 20:16

Watching with interest-I don't find the Waitrose clem/ginger remotely spa ish but nice enough.

I bought a gorgeous one from tk Maxx ages ago but can't remember what it was. Similar thread a while ago folk liked badedas

CherylVole · 26/06/2017 20:17

senspa

tigerdriverII · 26/06/2017 20:19

This might make me sound 100 years old but I like Fenjal

jeaux90 · 26/06/2017 21:45

Nuxe body oil. Smells delightful like a holiday or spa

bibblebobblebubble · 26/06/2017 22:27

Ooh been offline for a bit and come back to all these ideas. Am tempted to buy the lot and try them out one by one.

There's a Boots near my work so I'll nip in and give the Clarins one a sniff then maybe get myself to a John Lewis to have a smell of the ESPA. The Waitrose one is sold by Ocado so that might creep onto my list (the yellow 'nourish' one?)

I do love Badedas...

bibblebobblebubble · 26/06/2017 22:44

Right - it was a Virgin gym and it looks like they use ESPA so I might give that a shot first, and if I like it I might get the body lotion too...

A lot of SpaSmellsâ„¢ are often essential oil heavy, so lavender, geranium, patchouli, ylang ylang etc

I LOVE Espa. To me, they make the most Spa-ey fragrances. Their bergamot shower gel is delicious.

Mauli is also good.
Elemis have just released a range of Spa type scents which come in shower gel/ candle and roll on perfume. The Fortitude scent is a perfect spa scent!

HappyAxolotl · 27/06/2017 07:02

Champneys and The Sanctuary do their own ranges of bath stuff and it all smells gorgeous as well as being lovely to use.

I know Sanctuary is in Boots and they often have offers on it. I think Champneys is in one of the supermarkets.

Auldspinster · 27/06/2017 09:44

Mandara Spa stuff from Sainsburys smells gorgeous.

IPamperU · 27/06/2017 09:54

"It's a Wonderful Life" from Temple Spa, Bergamot Ginger Mint, gentle exfoliating, smoothes the skin & smells awesome. £15
