What about ballerina-type pumps - there are loads about with metallic/floral/plain colours. Next Directory have lots, as do Boden and La Redoute. They're comfy yet pretty and go with trousers, jeans and skirts.

I've got a few friends who wear CATS with jeans and they look nice but you'll roast in summer. For now - they're fine.

nailpolish · 22/03/2007 10:18

i wear my CATS all the time
at this time of year

nailpolish · 22/03/2007 10:18

actually i have timberlands not CATS

bozza · 22/03/2007 10:20

Could you get a lower wedge on your boots. I have some with a low wedge from Next and it is hardly like having them there. I also wear ballet pumps with jeans but only when it is dry on the ground.

bozza · 22/03/2007 10:21

Otherwise - yes Cat style boots fine. Could you try and find some cheap somewhere given the time of year?

nailpolish · 22/03/2007 10:21

apologies but wedge boots are awful

they look like orthopaedic shoes
