Suntan lotion P20, what's it like?

DH and I will easily go through 7 bottles of Ambre Solaire f30 spray on holiday in 14 days.

Has anyone tried P20? It's on special in Sainsbury this week.

Does it really last all day without feeling like you need to top up? We will be in and out the pool and sea all day. Also can't use Nivea as it gives me heat rash, anyone found they're more prone with this product?

Cakes that's the one we use.

Op I don't live in NZ but family do. The banana boat (seriously!) aerosols are amazing. You can't get them here though the ones on Amazon aren't the same. These ones don't even need running in and you can get up to factor 85!

I used to have ultrasun sent over to Australia as I didn't like their own brands.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 24/06/2017 18:33

It's the same as Calypso which is MUCH cheaper ( couple of quid on Aldi and it's in tesco too) never burn with it and we're all pale skinned.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 24/06/2017 18:34

Calypso doesn't smell and doesn't stain.

Redsippycup · 24/06/2017 18:35

Good to know Dame - I used to love P20 but it never seems to dry now that they have changed the formula

Dailystuck71 · 24/06/2017 18:41

If you google banana boat you will see that it's been recalled in the states and Canada. A child was burnt badly by it apparently.

Cassimin · 24/06/2017 18:52

Always use p20 factor 50 on little one. Apply when he gets up and leave it to dry in.
He's in and out of pool all day and don't reapply. Has never burnt.
Used piz buin once a day once and his face swelled up. Never again.

slalomsuki · 26/06/2017 13:52

Have used both Calypso and P20 and can confirm that both stain if they aren't dry when you get dressed. It's easy for the kids and they haven't burnt with it on holiday ever. I find that as long as it's put on early enough in before breakfast it's fine for the day and doesn't come off unless showered off with shower gel.

Juliecloud · 26/06/2017 14:07

Does it protest against both uva and uvb?

HarryOHay · 26/06/2017 20:09

Juliecloud

This is the info from the factor 50.

Honestly, if it's on offer it's definitely worth trying out.

It works very well for our family.

Reacting can be v random you know. I get heat rash with a lot of ss but Nivea and p50 are fine.

My ds reacts to Nivea and calypso.

No burning here but we've only been in uk, Ireland and France.

No staining either, we let it dry first. Dries quickly. Not that smelly imo but I suppose that is quite subjective.

I always just buy it now as for ds and me, we know it won't give either of us heat rash.

I love P20 and just wouldn't use anything else now after years of trying different sun lotions. I don't understand the greasy comments as its quite an astringent liquid that dries really quickly. I've never had any transfer onto clothes. I also never reapply, am in and out of the water all day and have never burned. I'd definitely recommend OP.
