HELP! I don't get out much!

Going out on Friday. Nowhere special, just drinking in town and I have bought a long top to go with straight jeans and long boots. Now then, what sort of jacket do I put on top of a long top? I can't help thinking that a jacket will just look odd, as it will be much too short or is it the in fashion to have your top hanging out the bottom?

Wear a coat

Nbg · 21/03/2007 07:31

Have you got a cropped jacket or a short leather jacket?

MrsBadger · 21/03/2007 10:36

I'd wear my wool coat, which is knee length

princesscc · 21/03/2007 10:50

Yes, I have short jackets - it that acceptable then? I won't have people I look like muton dressed as lamb? (am 39)
Mamama - do you mean I'm rude? If so, I was only joking.

Sorry.

What did you decide on?

princesscc · 21/03/2007 23:07

I decided that I am 39 years old, married and too old to frankly care what people think about what I wear! So I will be wearing my usual short jacket and I will feel good about myself and sod all the young pretty girls who have to go out worrying about who is looking at them!

You'll be taking off your coat/jacket anyway so make sure it's not a heavy wool affair or you'll have a sore arm by the end of the night!
