ugh...they're slippers!!!

when we were kids, we weren't even allowed to go the the letterbox in them in case someone saw (in Oz, where letterboxes are on the front lawn)

lulumama · 20/03/2007 13:12

my sister just bought a pair in sand....she bought them in a poncetastic shoe shop in essex !

MamaG · 20/03/2007 13:12

Ignore the Philistines - try www.hartings.co.nz for the cheapest ones by far. I'm a 3 and I definitely wouldn't go for a 4 as they come up quite big anyway. Enjoy your snuggly toes

skirmish · 20/03/2007 13:13

get a nice pair of wedges instead

ScottishThistle · 20/03/2007 13:14

Personally I think that fashion's been well & truly done & it's spring verging on summer now.

nailpolish · 20/03/2007 13:15

Baysmum · 20/03/2007 13:19

Get Celts - same thing but Cornish and absolutelu lovely - sooooo comfortable and I think stylish (and if not who cares!!??) and STILL look good in summer. Will have to have mine surgically removed!!! (Agree with buyng a size smaller though)!

Scootergirl · 20/03/2007 13:19

There's a few on ebay with buy it now so you could get them straight away. So warm and lovely, specially without socks.

nailpolish · 20/03/2007 13:19

I've got a pair in sand which I've had since Christmas and worn at least very other day.
They're looking a bit more worn in now but they're doing fine IMO.
I know they look a bit daft but frankly I can't be arsed to totter round in wedges or whatever and it's so nice to just pull them on - no socks! - under your jeans and go.
I would definitely say they're worth the money and to consider a 2 rather than a 3 unless you're on your way to being a 4, if you know what I mean!
