DH is 33 and has expressed an interest in updating his look.
He's a very safe dresser and you'll never in a million years get him in anything sleeveless, low cut or skinny jeans for example, but I'm wondering what touches we could add to his outfits/look to make it a bit more 'in' (cringe at that word, hopefully you get what I mean)?
His current wardrobe fits in to 3 categories: 1) jeans (standard straight leg) t-shirts (again standard style). Purchased by looking for best reductions, I would be surprised if design/colour was a factor. Some he owned since we started going out 11yrs ago. Lace up trainers but not sports type, like chunkier converse IYKWIM.
2) Suits for work,black brogues.
3) Night out = dark denim jeans & button up short sleeved shirt with invariably a pastelly plaid pattern with one of his 2 choices of footwear mentioned above.
He's tall 6', dark curly hair, not buff but not overweight.
Hes never going to really stray from the jeans/t-shirt staples, but what are little touches to look out for that would update this outfit and his look overall? Thanks
