Does anyone else have this problem, or do you think I need to buy a larger size?

ive just brought some so am interested in answer too!not very attractive are they!

mustrunmore · 19/03/2007 21:06

How many people actually use these? I'm still in denial that I'm going to have to get some; its seems so revolting and like admitting defeat. But my belly is never going to improve (lost no weight since ds2, aged 13 months), and every now and agin I read threads and think that actually everyone has them anyway!

Fubsy · 19/03/2007 21:07

Ive got some of the high waisted spanx - they roll down leaving me with an extra roll round the middle!

Bubble99 · 19/03/2007 21:26

They are a lot more comfortable than I'd expected. I agree, there is the problem of where the rolls of flab actually go.

I've go a horrible overhang of flab around my middle and was asked again last weekend when I was due (DS4 is nearly 5 months.)

Which make have you got Bubble?

Clary · 20/03/2007 09:02

I have some which are fab, they seem to smooth it all over and mean I can wear a pair of tailored trousers that otherwise just feel tight all day.

However I do have to take em off when I get home and let it all hang out, what a relief!

Bubble I think you may need a larger size (sorry)

BizzyDint · 20/03/2007 09:04

yes, larger size. i work for m&s, we sell oodles and oodles of magic knickers, and we now have magic jeans and dresses too

Clary · 20/03/2007 09:04

ooh yes BD I saw those magic dresses. Do they work as well? Wanted to try it on (just for fun, had no occasion) but sadly with DS2 in tow those days are gone

Bizzydint: is the sale in all stores?
And tell more about the magic dresses! What shape are they? And where are they magic, in the tummy area? What section would I find them in?

BizzyDint · 20/03/2007 09:47

yes all stores. not outlet ones though. and it's online also.

magic dress in stores they're with formal wear. so look for other smart dresses, occasion wear etc.

can't find magic jeans online but they are in store next to normal jeans. they look just like the other jeans except they have a purple tag.

kittypants · 20/03/2007 09:47

you have to buy size bigger?no wonder i cant breath

kittypants · 20/03/2007 09:48

are the jeans more expensive?

BizzyDint · 20/03/2007 09:52

gosh not sure. wouldn't have thought they are a lot more. that magic dress is only £25.

BizzyDint · 20/03/2007 09:54

the jeans found them googling, don't think these are the current ones though. and the pic doesn't do them justice IMO. £35.

LaCerbiatta · 20/03/2007 09:58

Thanks! Might pop in today to have a look.
